Research support tools, organized around one workflow
Use the AIRA Proposal Workspace before execution when you need to turn an idea into a research plan; use the five-step research journey for evidence discovery, review, analysis, and writing. Open these tools only when a specific research task needs deeper planning, searching, reviewing, designing, analyzing, writing, or verification support.
How to use this toolkit
Public tools run immediately. Workspace tools open inside My Research so evidence, outputs, decisions, and versions stay attached to the same project.
Research tools across the 5-step journey
Start with the project stage, then open only the specialist tool needed for the current task. Workspace tools keep project context and saved outputs together; public utilities can be used independently.
Recommended sequence is guidance, not a rigid lock. Researchers may return to an earlier tool when new evidence changes the research question, design, or interpretation.
Plan
Frame the problem, questions, objectives, and conceptual direction.
Search
Build searches, select discovery sources, and verify scholarly identifiers.
Review
Extract, appraise, organize, and synthesize evidence.
Design
Align methodology, instruments, sampling, and statistical strategy.
Analyze
Compute quantitative results, code qualitative data, and map findings.
Write
Develop discussion, conclusions, and recommendations from verified evidence.
Verify
Check citations, structure, consistency, and reference formatting.
Research integrity boundary
These tools support research work; they do not replace source verification, adviser review, discipline-specific methodology, ethics approval, statistical judgment, or final researcher responsibility.
